300 years ago on a quaint parish farm, tucked away admist the tumbling Thames Valley, there lived an ageing farmer who dedicated his life to growing botanicals to distill a gin to be proud of. As industrious and hard working as he was, he just couldn’t get it right. Until a dewy spring morning, one of his beloved cows, the one with the glorious beard, gathered up an astounding array of botanicals placing them gently at his feet. The sceptical farmer, after much pondering, distilled the extracted flavours, to his amazement, the perfect blend was created. This recipe has been passed down generation to generation, and is what you drink from this bottle today.
In honour it is named… The Bearded Cow.
